Job Description

Our client is looking for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Drama to join a distinctive and forward-thinking secondary school in Herefordshire. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 with excellent induction support and mentoring designed to help you flourish in your first teaching role.

  • ECT Drama Teacher required to work on a full-time basis
  • All-through school with a creative and holistic curriculum
  • Join a supportive Performing Arts department with excellent resources

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and imaginative new teacher to inspire young people through Drama. The successful candidate will deliver Drama across KS3 and KS4 and contribute to enrichment activities such as theatre productions workshops and festivals.

Experience and Qualifications

  • ECT Drama Teacher (PGCE or equivalent completed)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creativity and performance
  • Commitment to inclusive education and holistic development of pupils
  • Enthusiasm for professional growth and learning from experienced mentors
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
