Teach dynamic and challenging Physics lessons across KS4 and KS5
Are you a motivated and knowledgeable Physics teacher with a passion for scientific discovery This well-equipped inclusive and high-achieving Watford-based independent school is seeking a dedicated professional to join their collaborative and structured Science department.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Physics lessons to GCSE and A-Level students
Prepare students for examinations and top-tier university science courses
Promote critical thinking through hands-on and inquiry-based labs
Contribute to the schools STEM outreach and enrichment programmes
Foster curiosity through extracurricular physics and engineering clubs
Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment
Candidate Profile:
UK QTS or PGCE in Physics/Science
Strong subject knowledge and a track record of academic success
Experience teaching Physics at KS4/5 (including A-Level or IB)
Passion for mentoring high-achieving and inquisitive learners
Excellent planning communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to innovation and excellence in science education
