We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacherto join our welcoming and ambitious Primary School in Birmingham. This is a permanent role starting October half term 2025 providing the opportunity to support children at a key stage in their learning journey.

• Working Pattern: Full Time Term Time Only
• Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
• Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative teacher to join our KS1 team. As a Year 2 Teacher you will help pupils consolidate their learning from Year 1 and prepare them for a smooth transition into Key Stage 2. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity independence and resilience while supporting pupils to achieve their very best.

The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 2 Teacher working closely with colleagues parents and carers to ensure that every child thrives academically socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a Year 2 Teacher
• Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to excel
• Create a safe and inspiring classroom as a Year 2 Teacher
• Work collaboratively with colleagues parents and the wider school community
• Contribute to the schools ethos of high expectations and achievement
