Job Summary
An ambitious and innovative secondary school in Bristol is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join their successful Technology department from January 2026. This is a permanent full-time role for a teacher who can inspire students in a variety of DT specialisms and promote creativity and innovation across the curriculum.

Full-time permanent DT Teacher role starting January 2026
Secondary school in Bristol with strong results in STEM subjects
Teach across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level preparation
Join a supportive Technology team with excellent resources
Experience and Qualifications
Qualified DT Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
Specialism in areas such as Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering or Graphics
Confidence in using CAD/CAM software and delivering practical lessons
Proven ability to raise student attainment through engaging teaching strategies
Enthusiasm for extracurricular projects such as design clubs and competitions
Excellent organisation classroom management and teamwork skills
Legal right to work in the UK
