Job Description
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Maidstone Kent is looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for a dedicated teacher who wants to make a real difference in a supportive and friendly environment.
What Youll Do
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons for Year 4 pupils
- Assess and monitor progress providing feedback and setting targets
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Work closely with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices
- Maintain a safe positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about pupil progress
- Participate in staff meetings professional development and school activities
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Year 4 or Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and differentiate lessons for individual learners
- Commitment to collaboration professional development and a positive team approach
