We are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cheltenham Gloucestershire that is looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent opportunity ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about supporting children in the early years of their school journey.
The school is seeking a teacher who can bring energy creativity and strong curriculum knowledge to inspire and engage young learners.

Plan and deliver creative engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Support pupils transition from EYFS to KS1 and nurture their early academic progress.
Monitor and assess childrens progress setting clear and ambitious targets.
Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to year group and whole-school planning.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Recent experience teaching in KS1.
Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A reflective adaptable and creative approach to teaching.
Commitment to high standards of teaching learning and safeguarding.
