Business Teacher - Kensington West London (Independent School)
We are exclusively partnering with a prestigious independent school in the affluent area of Kensington to find an exceptional Business Teacher. The Role
The school is seeking an inspirational Business Teacher with extensive experience teaching the subject with a primary focus on A-Level and potentially the IB Diploma. The ideal candidate will possess deep commercial knowledge and a passion for challenging high-ability students. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding intellectually rigorous lessons in Business Studies/Management to students at GCSE A-Level and potentially IB.
- Developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum that integrates academic theory with real-world case studies and advanced commercial concepts.
- Inspiring entrepreneurial thought and guiding students through in-depth research projects and highly competitive examination preparation.
- Contributing to the schools enrichment programme perhaps by leading a Young Enterprise scheme investment clubs or debating society.
- Working collaboratively within a supportive academic faculty committed to achieving excellence.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this elite position you should have:
- A degree in Business Economics Finance or a related commercial discipline from a top university.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications (e.g. PGCE Independent School teaching experience).
- Extensive proven experience teaching Business at A-Level and/or IB with a demonstrable track record of securing top grades.
- A deep and current knowledge of global business issues corporate strategy and financial markets.
- Excellent communication professional presentation and scholarly classroom leadership skills.
