A highly regarded independent school in Buckinghamshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role offering the chance to work in a nurturing and academically stimulating environment with a focus on early years development.
You will lead the Reception class delivering engaging lessons and fostering a love of learning while supporting the social emotional and academic development of young children.
- Plan prepare and deliver high-quality Reception lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Promote a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Observe assess and track pupil progress providing feedback to guide development
- Work closely with support staff and colleagues to ensure consistent learning outcomes
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support home learning
- Participate in school-wide initiatives professional development and extracurricular activities
