Job Summary

Material Specialist
Pay Rate BR/hr
Workdays/Hours: 3rd Shift - Tuesday - Saturday - 8:30pm 5:00am with Sunday/Monday OFF DAYS
Length of Assignment: 12 months
Steel toed shoes required.
Bio:
If your candidate has previous GE experience (whether contract or direct) you must provide the following information within the Supplier Comment field along with the Bio: GE division name was work direct or contract location of work last GE Manager name reason for leaving.
Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident Alien
Job Duties:
Material request / picking
Shipping / Receiving
Packing material
Stocking material
Shop support kitting
Load/Unload Trucks w/ pallet jack
May use hydraulic cart and/or forklift.
Will drive forklift (sit-down)
Cycle Counting
Answering calls from customers (excellent communication skills needed)
Responding to customer emails in a professional manner
General Housekeeping (sweeping emptying trash etc.)
Educational Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Hardware/Software Knowledge Needed: Microsoft Office (especially Outlook & Excel)
PPE Equipment needed (if applicable): Steel toed shoes required
