JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX
PAY RATE: $64.62/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the embedded weapon system lifecycle.
-
Validate implement and verify system security requirements in hardware and software.
-
Design deploy and maintain system security architectures and countermeasures for advanced DoD weapon systems.
-
Analyze vulnerabilities and threats in product designs.
-
Prototype and test cybersecurity countermeasures to defend against attacks.
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain clearance (not required to start)
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR)
-
2 4 years hands-on experience implementing and managing cybersecurity protocols
-
2 4 years preferably in systems or software development
-
1 2 years designing or integrating embedded systems
-
1 2 years applying RMF for system security and compliance
-
1 2 years implementing system-level security measures
-
Experience designing integrating and managing complex systems
-
Familiarity with SDLC coding or system automation
-
Ability to analyze interpret and document system and cybersecurity requirements
-
Exposure to DoD weapon system security standards
-
Vulnerability Analysis: Experience identifying assessing and mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities
-
Proficient in reading and writing English
-
Competent with computer usage

Strong written communication skills
