Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Aerospace Buyer FULLY REMOTE
LOCATION: Remote U.S.
PAY RATE: $38-43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: 6-month contract with potential to convert to full-time hire.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or equivalent work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Buyer; overall 7 years in Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge of compliant acquisition procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements.
Experience developing RFPs statements of work evaluation criteria and source selection criteria.
Experience with both development and production aerospace programs.
International subcontract experience including import/export compliance and ITAR regulations.
Experience with purchased services/subcontracting (e.g. licensing software and other non-tangible services).
Able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers Engineering and Program Management.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong experience with purchased services/subcontracting.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective supplier and internal relationships.
