Job Description
Responsibilities
- Install maintain and troubleshoot low voltage systems including security fire alarm and communication systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Utilize AutoCAD Revit or MicroStation for creating and modifying schematics and layouts.
- Perform signal processing and debugging on various electronic systems.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and firmware for system integration.
- Engage in surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and soldering of components as needed.
- Conduct vision inspection system checks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Document all work performed including changes made to existing systems or designs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical engineering or related field with a focus on low voltage systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python C or MATLAB for scripting tasks.
- Familiarity with FPGA design SoC architecture and PCB layout principles is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to support system design and integration efforts.
- Experience with signal processing techniques and tools such as SystemVerilog or Simulink is a plus.
- Knowledge of NEC standards and best practices in manufacturing processes related to electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
