MUST HAVE CHARGE EXPERIENCE Hospital: Tristar Horizon Medical CenterLocation: Dickson TNAddress: 111 Highway 70 EUnit Name: Women s ServicesBuilding: NACost Center:General InformationUnit Specifics: Number of Beds : LDRP 9 beds OBED 1 bed NICU 4 beds 1 OR suite Patient Ratios : 1:1 active labors inductions C-sections couplet care 1:3 newborns 1:1 until stable NICU 1:3 intermediate care but 2 NICU nurses must be in the unit if there are Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : no techs or unit secretaries Type of equipment: CPN Central monitoring IV pumps infant warmers tele-med robot for neonatologist bili-blankets PCA pumps Documentation system: Meditech and CPN Scheduling requirements: FT 3 shifts per wk. rotating weekend and holidays PRN s to complete Floating policy: regular staff if scheduled and not needed on the unit are expected to float anywhere within the facility as needed some staff are cross trained to float between LDRP & NICU Patient Experience requirements: daily rounding on all patients SAFETY roundingHospital Specifics- Certifications: Joint Commission Stoke Center Level II Trauma Level II NICUHiring profileRequested Skill Set: Must have: Labor and delivery experience including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment. Experience with shoulder dystocia PP hemorrhage and other potential OB emergencies preferred. Advanced skills needed: Fetal monitoring education experience with inductions (Pitocin cervidil) Procedures performed on unit: C-sections circumcisions intra-uterine monitoring vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries Certifications Required: BLS NRP Fetal Monitoring training Dress Code: (Required uniform) Pink and/or brown scrubs required per the infant security policy for the unitUnit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
