Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology Medical Director and Cardiologists the Ultrasound Technologist - Cardiac is responsible for care and safety of patients undergoing cardiac ultrasound procedures; use and knowledge of ultrasound equipment to perform professional quality cardiac ultrasound procedures including stress echoes and transesophageal ultrasound studies.

On Call Requirements : No call
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting ultrasound tests to capture cardiac images for diagnostic purposes
- Preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process to them
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order and properly maintained
- Collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals on treatment plans
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
- Staying current on industry developments and best practices to continually improve patient care
Requirement description :
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field - REQUIRED
- ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography - REQUIRED

- 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
- Certifications - don t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
- License - must be eligible and willing to obtain
