Job Description
Location: Palatka FL 32177
Shift: 12-hr Day 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the nursing process.
- Monitor record and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to assess plan implement or evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate detailed reports and records.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and nursing procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations using appropriate critical thinking skills.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Med-Surg RN experience is required.
- Certifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Additional certifications (e.g. ACLS PALS) are a plus.
