Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Lake City FL. This permanent role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where youll provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions.

You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team delivering direct nursing care and ensuring the highest quality of patient outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills attention to detail and thrives under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the ICU including assessments treatments medication administration and monitoring.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans.
Document patient information accurately and timely in the medical record.
Maintain and operate critical care equipment and monitor life support systems.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies procedures and protocols for safety and patient care.
Educate patients and their families about the patients condition and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Florida.
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience.
- Note: Candidates with 2 years of PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience may be considered.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held).
Strong clinical judgment communication and organizational skills.
