RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator- Permanent Role

Location: Kansas City MO 64101
Shift: Variable
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a clinical and operational resource for nursing staff.
Coordinate patient care activities and staff assignments during assigned shifts.
Provide direct patient care as needed.
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies procedures and standards of care.
Lead mentor and support nursing team members fostering professional development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics tracking.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff physicians patients and families.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports as per clinical and legal standards.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse Diploma (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or active compact state license
Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
Leadership/Management experience in Acute Care required
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
