Job Description
Location: Kansas City MO 64101
Shift: Variable
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for nursing staff.
- Coordinate patient care activities and staff assignments during assigned shifts.
- Provide direct patient care as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies procedures and standards of care.
- Lead mentor and support nursing team members fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics tracking.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff physicians patients and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports as per clinical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse Diploma (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or active compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Leadership/Management experience in Acute Care required
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
