Job Summary

This is going to be 100% AWS Cloud Platform Management & Operations Role with little or zero Dev Ops responsibilities. Relocation to Rockville MD would be preferred but not mandatory.

They would need to work on regular operational tasks ( & dirty work as the client calls in his interview) which forms majority of their day-today work

1. Working on Service-Now tickets (OS level & Cloud level troubleshooting/Remediating vulnerabilities) & adhering to SLAs.
2. Creating & Implementing change controls responding to RCA.
3. Commission/Decommission of Cloud Resources
4. Planned DR activities with different application teams.
5. Cleanups and cost-optimization analysis and implementation
6. Cloud Migrations and Site externalizations.
7. Backups/Patching of instances and resources.
8. Good Windows/Linux troubleshooting .
9. Automations and PoCs.
10. Adhering to all documentation standards else a lot of re-work has to be done.
