This is going to be 100% AWS Cloud Platform Management & Operations Role with little or zero Dev Ops responsibilities. Relocation to Rockville MD would be preferred but not mandatory.
They would need to work on regular operational tasks ( & dirty work as the client calls in his interview) which forms majority of their day-today work

- Working on Service-Now tickets (OS level & Cloud level troubleshooting/Remediating vulnerabilities) & adhering to SLAs.
- Creating & Implementing change controls responding to RCA.
- Commission/Decommission of Cloud Resources
- Planned DR activities with different application teams.
- Cleanups and cost-optimization analysis and implementation
- Cloud Migrations and Site externalizations.
- Backups/Patching of instances and resources.
- Good Windows/Linux troubleshooting .
- Automations and PoCs.
- Adhering to all documentation standards else a lot of re-work has to be done.
