Sr Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager will partner with the plant manager and the plant management team to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable the business and operations objectives. The role will work closely with multiple stakeholders to achieve results and influence change including business and HR Leadership to ensure local HR strategy aligns with global and corporate priorities. This role will lead the HR function for the plants and ensure effective and efficient delivery of people strategies leveraging corporate HR centers of excellence as needed and this role it is critical to develop strong relationships with peers and have a close connection to associates by spending time on the manufacturing floor working with managers and supervisors and developing a strong communications strategy. The HR leader will have significant influence and impact on the success of the business and play a key role in driving a performance-based culture that has the ability to change and adapt as the business environment and competitive landscape changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field from accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10 years of demonstrated progressive experience in HR Business Partner roles. Experience and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience working in a high growth environment with proven successful results.
- Experience in developing and leading an integrated network of domestic and international manufacturing sites and 3rd party PEO relationships.
- Experience in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing preferred
- Must have a strong working knowledge of all Mexico labor laws to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of personnel across all lines and at all levels of business.
- Well-developed influencing skills – ability to inspire confidence and drive consensus.
- Intellectual agility to deal effectively with strategic issues and operational details.
- Executive level oral and written communication and presentation skills; the ability to effectively influence and motivate external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Teams. Experience with ADP Workforce Now desired.
