Headquartered in Herndon Virginia MERP Systems Inc. (MERP) is a certified Microsoft Gold Partner and 8(a) Woman-Owned Small Business that specializes in digital transformation and optimization for our customers. Focusing primarily on Case Management Systems and citizen engagement applications MERP experts create enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure Power Apps Dynamics 365 Power Pages SharePoint Open and C#. MERP has seven solutions on Microsofts Apps Source portal including Investigative Case Management and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) solutions. MERPs customers include federal agencies state and local governments non-profits and commercial organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather and analyze their financial and operational requirements.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and objectives.
- Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to meet client needs.
- Create functional specifications and design documents for system customizations.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Lead or assist in the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions.
- Set up and configure financial modules including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable budgeting and more.
- Collaborate with technical teams for system integrations.
- Provide training to end-users and administrators on system usage.
- Offer post-implementation support to resolve issues troubleshoot problems and ensure smooth operation of the software.
- Develop test plans and conduct functional and integration testing to validate system changes.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of the system by identifying and resolving defects.
- Maintain documentation of configurations customizations and business processes.
- Create user manuals and training materials.
- Assist in project planning scope definition and timeline management.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Business Finance or Information Technology.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP systems and implementation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and business operations.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Project management skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
