Housekeeping Supervisor
My Place Hotel - Location
Full-Time 30-40 hours per week $17 per hour (DOE)
My Place Hotel is seeking a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our small housekeeping team. This key role helps ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support housekeeping staff assigning daily room assignments and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness maintenance issues and compliance with hotel standards.
Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks such as scheduling timekeeping and supply tracking.
Clean guest rooms and public areas when needed to support the team or meet service expectations.
Train motivate and coach staff to deliver consistent quality and excellent guest service.
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor supply inventory and request orders as needed.
Ensure compliance with all health safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and in excellent condition.
Qualifications
Prior housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting (required).
Must be physically able and willing to perform cleaning duties when needed.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with housekeeping software a plus.
English required; bilingual skills a plus.
