Launched in 2023 Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware software and services across Ford Blue Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Fords retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function the way people interact with them and the value those vehicles provide.

In this position...

Were looking for a detail-oriented highly collaborative Product Operations Manager to join the Retail Offboard Experiences team. This isnt a traditional Product Management role focused on feature definition but rather a critical function that ensures the product runs smoothly complies with global regulations and is operationally ready to expand into new markets.

The Ford and Lincoln retail mobile applications serve as our essential digital front door fostering daily meaningful relationships with customers by enabling them to maximize the use and value of their vehicles. As the primary digital channels these cloud-based apps allow us to rapidly deploy features and content globally acting as a critical link between the customer and the Ford ecosystem.

Achieving these goals requires not only innovative product development but also meticulous operational planning execution and ongoing management. This is where the Product Operations Manager role plays a vital part. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join the retail mobile app team who will champion the operational rigor needed to support new market launches ensure compliance with terms conditions and privacy regulations and drive the operational health and efficiency of our mobile products.

This is a hybrid position requiring an onsite schedule of 4 days a week in the Dearborn MI office. This is not a remote position.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

New Market Launches (as required based upon prioritization):

  • Coordinate across product engineering legal marketing regional teams and customer support to ensure all operational aspects are covered for a successful launch (e.g. localization readiness support documentation legal reviews operational monitoring).

Terms & Conditions and Privacy Management:

  • Manage the process for updating and implementing app Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies across all operating markets ensuring compliance with local regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA etc.).
  • Maintain clear documentation of T&C and Privacy requirements and implementations for the product team.

Product Operations & Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the product team and across cross-functional dependencies to enhance efficiency and clarity.
  • Support the Product Management team by managing operational tasks that free them up to focus on strategy and features.
  • Become an operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for areas like compliance processes and multi-market operations within the Retail Offboard Experiences team.


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3 years of experience in Product Management Digital Operations or Program Management.
  • Detail-Focused Ownership: Youre highly organized have an eye for detail and you take full ownership of your responsibilities embodying the Deliver It. Own It. behavior.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration and influence with diverse stakeholders across all departments (e.g. Legal Compliance Privacy Product Engineering Marketing).
  • Action-Oriented Problem Solver: You thrive in ambiguity proactively identifying challenges taking initiative to clarify and improve processes and driving practical solutions to completion with a strong Bias for Action.
  • A deep passion for our customers their needs and for building/releasing products to meet these needs.

Even better you may have...

  • Bachelors degree in business technology legal studies or a related field
  • Direct experience launching digital products or features in new international markets.
  • Worked with terms and conditions or privacy in the past
  • Experience with operational tools (JIRA Confluence analytics platforms)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
