Position Description:
We are seeking a self-driven Summer Intern to join our Sales Operations team. This internship will focus on designing and implementing an automated process to evaluate the success of customer contracts and/or product forecasting. The intern will work closely with Sales Operations and cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) streamline data collection and build a scalable reporting solution. This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be analytical proactive and eager to gain hands-on experience in business process improvement and performance measurement within a dynamic sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and pain points.
- Map the current process and identify inefficiencies or gaps.
- Analyze data sources (e.g. share & sales).
- Define and validate KPIs.
- Build a prototype dashboard or reporting tool using Excel or Tableau.
- Test the solution with historical data and refine based on feedback.
- Present final deliverables to ESOP & CPC.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
- Must be pursuing at least a bachelors level degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related major.
- Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
- Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
- Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) Intern position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Tableau
- Clear communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
