Title: Expert Enterprise Architecture
Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :
Colgate-Palmolive seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead its technology vision and strategy aligning with business objectives. This role involves developing and maintaining the Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework (technology data security) providing strategic leadership and ensuring technological infrastructure supports growth and efficiency. The Enterprise Architect will also establish robust governance architectural standards manage risks ensure compliance and translate business requirements into innovative architectural blueprints through collaboration with leaders.
Responsibilities :
Strategic Involvement
Create and manage the EA framework including technology data and security architecture.
Develop and maintain the EA roadmap that aligns with Business expectations and IT strategies.
Provide thought leadership and guidance on technology solutions to support Colgate-Palmolives growth and efficiency.
Ensure the technological infrastructure supports Colgate-Palmolives long-term goals.
Technology Evaluation and Selection
Lead technology design and implementation projects and provide mentorship to other architects and technical leaders.
Provide efficient Gap analysis of existing technology stack and target architecture.
Identify and evaluate new technologies to identify their impact on the EA.
Governance and Standards
Ensure architecture decisions align with industry standards best practices and regulatory requirements.
Establish and implement the architectural standards and guidelines.
Lead the architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with the architectural vision.
Integration and Interoperability
Design and implement integration solutions for various enterprise systems to ensure flawless communication and data exchange.
Develop a framework for system interoperability that enhances Colgate-Palmolives operational efficiency.
Risk Management and Compliance
Assess and mitigate architectural risks including security compliance and reliability concerns.
Ensuring that the architecture adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies.
Collaborate with Business and Technology leaders to understand their goals and find opportunities.
Collaborate with partners across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural specifications.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure the optimal implementation of architectures.
Consider inputs and insights from various groups and teams to ensure that the current or proposed architecture supports the organizations multi-functional needs.
Identifying patterns and trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
7 years of proven ability in IT as an Enterprise Architect with expertise in handling large-scale sophisticated projects & landscapes particularly those requiring turnaround stabilization and turning point decisions on architecture.
Experience in supporting organizations in aligning business goals and organisation strategies.
Experience and knowledge of working with Business Architecture (Capability Maps Process Maps building the Enterprise Architecture model models to reflect strategies and goals).
Solid understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Good interpersonal collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Relevant architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF) is preferred
Experience in working as a Enterprise Architect for a FMCG company
Experience in working with an EA Tool such as LeanIX Ardoq ABACUS etc.
