Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for operating a forklift to transport materials equipment be loaded on various shelves and vechicles. The Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate will be tasked with loading and unloading the vehicle ensuring the safe transport of all items.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a valid drivers license a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate a carry all vehicle. Additionally the Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials
- Load and unload the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure the secure transport of all items to their designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the forklift
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow instructions for job assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience operating a forklift or similar equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
