This is a temporary position.

The Manager Price Administration and Audit Analysis ensures accuracy and compliance in vendor pricing and contracted catalogs across the organizations procurement activities. As part of the Global Procurement team the Manager reviews vendor contracts and master service agreements to extract and monitor key pricing terms ensuring adherence to negotiated rates and conditions. They conduct pricing audits and variance analyses to compare actual versus contracted spend investigate discrepancies follow up with suppliers on any variances and maintain centralized records of contract pricing and audit results to support accurate reporting ongoing compliance and informed decision-making This role offers the opportunity to drive and execute contracting strategies support sourcing initiatives and contribute to the success of Marriotts 30 brands across 10000 hotels in 138 countries. The global team has a presence in 9 offices worldwide (Eschborn London Dubai Cape Town Shanghai Singapore Mumbai Bethesda MD Plantation FL) and over 60 clusters representing 200 associates. This role will maximize Marriotts global purchasing power of $20B while supporting strategic supplier relationships.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required:

  • 3 years of experience in vendor contract administration eProcurement or a related function
  • Experience directly managing manufacturer distribution and into unit price files
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Oracle SAP NetSuite) procurement platforms and analytical tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability harmonizing data across multiple source files.
  • Strong Analytical and Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables lookups basic formulas)
  • Enterprise mindset with history of transformation and digital process improvement

Preferred:

  • Prior experience infood service distribution CPG hospitality hotel or corporate procurement or franchise/vendor management environments
  • Familiarity with vendor contracts and pricing common in food & beverage FF&E (furniture fixtures & equipment) or operating supply vendor agreements
  • Exposure to contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools eProcurement applications and ERP AP systems

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Reviews vendor contracts and master service agreements to extract and track key pricing terms ensuring adherence to negotiated rates and compliance with contract conditions.
  • Conducts detailed pricing audits and variance analysis to compare actual spend versus contracted spend identifying discrepancies and potential savings opportunities.
  • Executes regular audits of contracted catalogs within the eProcurement system assessing frequency of updates accuracy of pricing and proper catalog visibility for specific hotels and buyers.
  • Investigates and follows up on pricing issues raised by Finance or Procurement preparing clear reports and recommendations for resolution.
  • Analyzes spend data and contract structures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved pricing strategies.
  • Resolves pricing discrepancies directly with vendors negotiating corrective actions and restitution where errors are identified.
  • Collaborates with suppliers and contract managers to strengthen catalog governance and establish preventive measures that reduce recurrence of pricing issues
