What are we looking for

TheLaboratory Supervisoris primarily responsible for operational and technical oversight training sample processing and preparation laboratory analysis reporting ordering and inventory and quality control activities.

Shift/Schedule:Monday Friday 40 hours per week Typically 9:30am-6pm

What youll do:

• Sample Processing and Preparation
• Utilization of a LIMS for data entry and reporting
• QA/QC activities including but not limited to validations SOP writing and compliance calibrations proficiency testing oversight CARs data review and ensuring accreditation compliance
• Laboratory analysis/ microscopy
• Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment including a microscope
• Reporting and client communication
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of laboratory area
• Operational and technical supervision of a team of analysts
• Ordering and oversight of supplies

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Geology Chemistry Biology Forensic Science
• 5 years of professional environmental/ IH laboratory experience
• 2 years of laboratory leadership experience
• 2 years of quality systems experience (ISO 17025 AIHA NVLAP ELAP preferred)
• Attention to detail accuracy integrity
• Ability to read apply and teach standards methods regulations and SOPs
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• Geology Degree strongly preferred
• PLM and/or TEM experience and/or familiarity with minerology
