The Role

The Project Controller role is based within our Mission Systems business area. Babcock is a trusted provider of integrated solutions for global defence and security. We have a wide portfolio of best-in-class intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance solutions communications and weapons launch and handling solutions across all domains integrating the best of industry to meet our customers needs.

As a Project Controller youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. Youll have the ability to directly contribute to the successful delivery of our complex high profile and mission critical projects & programmes.

Within this role you will implement effective project controls measures relating to scope cost time risk and this role youll be instrumental in the production of weekly monthly and quarterly project/programme reports to provide critical status and forecast information to Project Managers. You will provide up to date and accurate information on Risks Opportunities Assumptions and Issues. You will help to maintain delivery schedules forecasts and baseline change requests.

This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

Essential Experience of the Project Controller

Able to show drive and desire to make a daily positive impact.
Organised tasks orientated mindset.
A commitment to self-improvement and continuous professional development.
Experienced with MS Office software inc. management of MS SharePoint sites.
Experience in Project Controls including an understanding of risk management scheduling and change control.
Experience working in teams with the ability build relationships quickly.

Qualifications for the Project Controller

Association for Project Management (APM) desired.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. However if you are able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance this would be desirable.
