Job Description:

As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team you will be responsible for the following:

• preparing rooms and equipment.

• assisting with patient care to facilitate an orderly efficient and safe clinical environment.

• ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.

• providing quality and safe patient care.

• Facilitating patients in and out of procedure room.

• Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment setting up room inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.

• Obtain vital signs and record findings

Education:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent And
• Completion of a Certified Nurses Assistant course Or
• Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations

Experience:

Required: Phlebotomy EKG or Nursing Assistant

Preferred: ACU or Medical/Surgical

BLS is required

This is a 40 hour day position
