About the role
As a Senior Plant & Layout Engineer you will play a key role in our projects with responsibility for developing reviewing and optimizing plant layouts and technical solutions. You will work closely with both Swedish and international colleagues actively participate in project execution and proposal work and act as a technical expert within your field.
Your main responsibilities include:
Designing and optimizing plant layouts and related mechanical solutions.
Conducting engineering analyses to ensure solutions meet project quality and productivity requirements.
Reviewing and approving drawings models and technical specifications.
Coordinating with other disciplines to secure integrated solutions.
Identifying risks and implementing processes to meet project quality objectives.
Coaching and supporting junior engineers and designers.
Coordinating and following up on subcontracted engineering work when .
Who are you
To succeed in this role you hold a degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical process or similar) and have at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in plant design and layout.
We also value:
Strong skills in E3D Rohr2 Comos and AutoCAD.
A solid background in mechanical design Piping design or similar fields.
The ability to work independently with complex engineering tasks.
Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish spoken and written.
Experience working in international project environments.
A solution-oriented and detail-focused mindset with the ability to mentor and inspire colleagues.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
The position is placed in Gothenburg Sweden and will be part of the PEC PEx Plant Engineering team with many colleagues in both Sweden and internationally. The position is full-time permanent employment. The role will occasionally be travelling to different sites and requires a willingness to travel.
