Salary: 24.309.07 Per annum pro rata

Location: Kettering Northants.

Contract/Hours:PermanentPart -time - working 4 hours per week Saturday 10am-2pm more hours available during the school holidays.

Expected Working Patterns: Saturdays in term time and varied weekdays during school holidays.

We are currently looking for a Childrens Services Workers to help us maintain providing excellent support to Children and young people aged 5 18.

Northants Short Breaks Service is a county-wide service providing short breaks to children and young people and their families supporting a range of ages and needs.
We have an inclusive approach that considers age disability and wider needs. It fits with our ethos of believing in the importance of allowing children and young people to socialise and develop relationships with other children and young people regardless of their age need and ability.

How youll help to create brighter futures

• As a Childrens Services worker you will be getting involved in lots of fun activities! arts & crafts leisure activities park visit bowling and many more.
• Providing 1:1 support in group activities.
• Planning and executing activities and encouraging active participation across our group sessions.
• Being a creative thinker and having a solution focused approach.
• Using your skills knowledge and experience to meet the needs of young people.
• Taking responsibility for the personal care and daily routines of the young people.

• Confidence to participate in group work which supports children and young peoples emotional health and wellbeing.
• The ability to travel across remote locations.
