Purpose of the role
The Science Technician plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality science education by providing technical assistance to the Science Department. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effective preparation maintenance and availability of materials equipment and resources required for practical science lessons. This includes supporting teaching staff during practical sessions ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and contributing to the efficient running of the department. The technician will also assist in demonstrations manage inventories and support the development of engaging and safe practical learning experiences for students.
