Job Summary
Learning Links is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (Diploma qualified) to join our highly regarded Exceeding-Rated Preschool at Peakhurst. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract working part-time 3 days per week during school terms.
Our preschool operates from 8am4pm and provides a high-quality inclusive early childhood program catering to the individual needs of all children aged 36 years and their families. With above-ratio staffing and a strong reputation for inclusive practice this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in childrens lives.
What youll be doing
- Building caring and nurturing relationships with children through a strengths-based approach
- Facilitating group activities and ensuring learning spaces are engaging and well-prepared
- Writing observations and sharing daily updates with families to support ongoing engagement
- Providing families with resources and strategies to enhance childrens learning at home
- Applying your knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards to deliver best practice
- Collaborating with colleagues therapists and the Preschool Director to continually improve inclusive practice
- Attending staff meetings (after hours)

About you
- ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification
- Experience working in an early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF NQS and current legislation/regulations
- Current First Aid CPR Asthma Anaphylaxis and Child Protection certificates (ACECQA approved)
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
- Valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A collaborative approach with a commitment to working in partnership with families and professionals
