About the Project:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) team is launching a transformative initiative to revolutionize our application review process. Currently manual application review is a time-consuming inconsistent and unscalable bottleneck for filling high-volume entry-level automotive roles. Recruiters are dedicating significant time to manual tasks such as sifting through large applicant pools checking for duplicate profiles and subjectively assessing candidates. This inefficiency inflates our Time to Fill and risks overlooking highly qualified candidates.
This initiative aims to convert the manual reactive application review into a streamlined data-driven system. By automating the initial triage and introducing an intelligent scoring model we will empower our recruiters to operate more efficiently reduce bias and concentrate their expertise on the most promising candidates who are poised for long-term success at Carvana.
The primary objective of Phase 1 is to develop and launch a foundational application review tool that automates initial screening and prioritizes candidates for high-volume roles. This will be achieved by:
