Ferguson is currently seeking a Shipping Manager (2nd Shift) to join our Dual Trade (HVAC and Plumbing) Branch team! This position will need to be based in the King of Prussia PA area.

This position begins at 3:00 pm - until the work is completed.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to assist 7-9 drivers loading trucks for 1st and 2nd runs potentially in temperamental elements
  • Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly
  • Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring training and providing professional development for all of its associates
  • Supervise coordinate and participate in unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
  • Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily
  • Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management
  • Responsible for assisting warehouse associates with picking process
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in Warehouse operations including shipping receiving delivery and inventory is required
  • 2 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
  • A Material Handling Equipment Certification is also recommended
  • Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Warehouse Management Systems Highjump Dispatch Track software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Applications required
  • A strong attention to detail leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines
  • Phenomenal communication skills and the ability and desire to manage a team

Pay Range:

$4537.80 - $9982.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
