Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean healthy environment for our employees and visitors by performing the following essential functions and responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include but not limited to:
- Must understand and follow company safety policies.
- Must be able to adhere to the responsibilities and physical requirements of the job.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions prioritize tasks and work effectively with a team.
- Vacuuming sweeping and mopping of flooring.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners clean receptacles as necessary.
- Maintain janitor closets & equipment in a clean organized and safe manner.
- Proper labeling dilution and use of all chemicals.
- Set up / take down of event materials.
- Lifting loading unfolding and moving tables chair materials and other equipment as needed.
Safety/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires repetitive bending stooping standing walking twisting and squatting.
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day.
- Good visual and spatial perception.
- Follow established safety policies including but not limited to mobile equipment PPE emergency response HAZCOM first-aid response etc.
