Join Iowa Lutheran Hospital as a Nurse Supervisor providing essential leadership support to our inpatient team. 3 East is a 27-bed Medical/Surgical unit that delivers nursing care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses including respiratory gastroenterology endocrinology infectious disease and stroke.

Responsibilities
The Unit Supervisor:
Provides leadership as part of the unit management team.
Coordinates unit management activities in conjunction with the manager/director.
Facilitates staff development within the unit in collaboration with the manager/director.
Implements the day-to-day operational plan of the unit under the direction of the manager/director.
Serves as a resource to other health team members on the assigned unit.
Collaborates with other departments to promote cost-effective health care.
May serve patients across the lifespan including infants pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric populations.
Assumes patient care assignments based on unit needs.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Baccalaureate degree preferred.
Current Iowa RN license required.
Minimum of three years of clinical experience preferred with recognized knowledge and expertise in caring for a specific patient population.
