Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Digital Platform Testing and Quality Assurance:

a. Lead comprehensive testing of a modern API-driven content management architecture ensuring seamless content delivery across multiple frontend applications and validating content modeling API endpoints and editorial workflows for content authors.

b. Execute rigorous testing of responsive web applications developed using modern frontend frameworks validating user interface components against Supply Ontarios Design System and ensuring optimal performance across desktop tablet and mobile devices.

c. Conduct specialized testing of cloud-native microservices and API integrations including REST and GraphQL endpoints authentication workflows and secure data exchange protocols between enterprise systems and external platforms.

2. User Experience and Authentication Testing:

a. Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios for user account management systems including registration workflows authentication processes role-based access control (RBAC) and single sign-on (SSO) integration with enterprise identity management services.

b. Validate secure authentication flows for multiple user personas including internal Supply Ontario staff public sector buyers and vendor organizations ensuring seamless integration with both internal identity services and external federated identity providers.

c. Perform detailed testing of user dashboard functionalities profile management capabilities password reset workflows and multi-factor authentication processes to ensure robust security and optimal user experience.

3. Search Discovery and Vendor Platform Testing:

a. Execute comprehensive testing of advanced search and discovery experiences including autocomplete functionality faceted search capabilities dynamic filtering systems and search result accuracy for Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangements and procurement resources.

b. Validate secure vendor reporting platforms including file upload workflows with virus scanning template-based reporting systems data validation processes and integration with Supply Ontarios internal data infrastructure.

c. Test protected content access workflows ensuring that sensitive procurement information is properly secured behind authentication barriers while maintaining intuitive user experiences for authorized users.

4. Agile Project Management and Collaboration:

a. Collaborate effectively within agile development frameworks participating in sprint planning sessions daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives while providing testing perspective on user story acceptance criteria and definition of done requirements.

b. Utilize project management and collaboration tools including JIRA for test case management defect tracking and sprint planning while maintaining comprehensive testing documentation in Confluence to ensure knowledge sharing and process transparency across development teams.

c. Work closely with product owners scrum masters and development teams to establish testing timelines within sprint cycles ensuring that quality assurance activities are properly integrated into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

5. Enterprise Integration and Performance Testing:

a. Design and execute comprehensive systems integration tests that validate end-to-end functionality across the new web platform and existing enterprise systems including data synchronization audit logging and workflow orchestration.

b. Conduct performance and load testing of the complete digital platform under various user load scenarios ensuring optimal response times system stability and scalability to support thousands of concurrent public sector users.

c. Validate integration points with Supply Ontarios enterprise data analytics platform identity management services notification systems and document management infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and operational continuity.

6. Content Management and Migration Testing:

a. Execute comprehensive testing of content migration processes from legacy WordPress systems to the new API-driven content management architecture validating content integrity metadata preservation URL redirect functionality and search engine optimization (SEO) compatibility.

b. Test content authoring workflows within the API-driven content management environment ensuring that non-technical content authors can effectively create edit and publish content using intuitive editorial interfaces and structured content models.

c. Validate dynamic content delivery across global website components including navigation menus headers footers and homepage sections ensuring consistent brand presentation and functionality across all user touchpoints.

7. Accessibility and Compliance Testing:

a. Conduct thorough accessibility testing in accordance with AODA standards and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines ensuring that all web components forms and interactive elements are fully accessible to users with diverse abilities and assistive technologies.

b. Validate compliance with government accessibility requirements privacy regulations and security standards including testing of data encryption secure API communications and audit logging capabilities.

c. Execute specialized testing of mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility to ensure optimal user experience across various devices operating systems and browser configurations used by public sector organizations.
