Job Summary
Our MedTech Clinical Educator with a focus on Pharmacy Technician role experience a unique opportunity to employ their technician expertise in a new way while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for educating end users on a new product in hospital pharmacy facilities. The product being supported is a closed system drug transfer device used in an oncology setting. Our ideal candidate will enjoy educating others presenting to groups and have a professional business acumen including strong communication and soft skills.

What you will be doing in the role:
- Utilize Pharmacy Technician expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device
- Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
- Provide updates reports and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments
You will have an opportunity to travel grow and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry.
Job Requirements:
- Active and current Pharmacy Technician license
- Must be available at least two weeks per month for assignments
- Ability to stand for long periods of time bend kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements including providing proof of up-to-date vaccination status required
Travel Requirement:
- Full-time commitment with travel flexibility.
- This is a per-diem position requiring travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs while having the flexibility to work with your current schedule. On average there are 1-2 assignments per month ranging from 3-5 days long per assignment.
- Driving is considered a business requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a valid drivers license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.
- Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home.
- Located within 1 hour of a major airport.
- Travel and your time traveling is paid.
Preferred Attributes:
- 2- 3 years minimum hospital experience preferred
- 1 year or more of Oncology experience highly preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
