Job Description
Family ownedand operated for over 50 years Mamouns Falafel is the oldest falafel restaurantin NYC and one of the first Middle Eastern establishments in the country.

Our mission is to servefresh authentic Middle Eastern food as quickly and as friendly as possible whilecreating an atmosphere that is energetic upbeat welcoming and responsive forboth guests and staff.
We are lookingfor Line Cooks to join our team. Ourkitchen is the engine that drives our operations and our Line Cooks are the people that keep the engine running. They are responsible for managing our cooking stations and executing our food recipes. If you enjoy working with food and being part of a dynamic kitchen team this is a perfect fit for you!

- Great Pay our pay rates start at $15-$17 perhour PLUS an extra $1-$2 per hour in tips!

JobRequirements
- Availability to work on weekends
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to speak see hear and read
- Ability to multi-task (perform multiple functionsat the same time)
- Ability to bend stoop stand and walk forextended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs andperform other diverse physical tasks as needed
- Develop thorough knowledge of our menu andrecipes (taught during training)
- Execute recipes and standard operatingprocedures for our daily food prep (taught during training)
- Execute checklists (taught duringtraining)
