IMT Management Consultant Strategist and Planner - GOAPRDJP
7000 - 113 ST
Edmonton
Work remotely though must be available for onsite meetings when required with reasonable notice from the Province

Standard Background Check
Can span activities related to information management and technology development and strategic planning project definition program communication providing leadership to project teams facilitating strategic partnerships with external stakeholders conducting business process reengineering activities and facilitating executive discussions on strategic matters.
Provides leadership advice and direction on the following strategic areas and initiatives that are being undertaken as part of the Data Strategy. Services and project deliverables should evolve as the work progresses in response to emerging user and business needs as well as design and technical opportunities.
- Data Platform services
- Generative and agentic artificial intelligence services
- Orchestration between data platform advanced analytics and artificial intelligence services
- Data management services
- DevSecOps services
Must-Haves:
- Experience with architecting and integrating AI ML and analytics services into the enterprise or government data platforms to support orchestration analysis and processing at scale. - 3 years
- Experience with managing end-to-end delivery of complex IMT projects including solution reviews progress tracking risk management and adoption planning. - 3 years
- Experience with leading the design architecture and delivery of IMT services and roadmaps using user-centered and agile approaches to meet evolving business needs. - 7 years
- Experience with leading strategic discussions with executives and cross-ministry teams to align stakeholder needs architectural priorities and business objectives. - 3 years
- Experience with designing and implementing enterprise data management frameworks governance models and lifecycle processes to support an environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government of Alberta. - 5 years
- Experience with developing business cases feasibility studies risk assessments scope definitions and project and program plans. - 5 years
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with architecting and maintaining and orchestrating secure automated CI/CD pipelines for data and AI services to enable rapid compliant deployments. - 3 years
- Experience with cloud platforms and their data services including storage computing analytics and data management tools. Demonstrates familiarity with major cloud ecosystems and the ability to leverage their native services for scalable secure and efficient data operations. - 7 years
- Experience with designing and implementing emerging generative and agent-based AI solutions to enhance automation and service delivery. - 1 year
- Experience with applying privacy security and compliance requirements to data services and AI solutions to ensure lawful and ethical use. - 3 years
- Experience creating visually compelling architecture diagrams service blueprints journey maps prototype designs business plans program plans strategic plans tactical plans operational plans communication plans and road-maps - 5 years
