Our client is a global leader in data and analytics delivering innovative solutions that help organizations make smarter decisions manage risk and drive growth. With a well-established technology center in Sofia the company fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment focused on continuous learning cutting-edge projects and real-world impact. On their behalf we are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team in Sofia.
Responsibilities:
- Develop validate and maintain credit risk models including application behavioral and collection scoring models;
- Utilize machine learning techniques to enhance traditional credit risk models and improve predictive accuracy;
- Work with large complex datasets to extract insights and build risk assessment frameworks;
- Evaluate the performance of the trained models and presentation of the results to stakeholders;
- Produce ad-hoc analysis on the developed models;
- Work on proof-of-concept projects to support client needs;
- Maintenance and improvement of the existing model development pipeline;
- Research and development of new advanced analytics solutions.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in Data Science role;
- An university degree at a discipline such as Computer Science Mathematics Statistics and econometrics Physics etc.;
- Strong grasp of probability statistical inference optimization algorithms linear algebra and calculus;
- Understanding of how and when to apply key analytical approaches including regression analysis and machine learning;
- Ability to write near-production-level code in at least one general purpose programming language (e.g. Python C);
- To learn and understand new technologies;
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with an enquiring mind
- Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau and Power BI will be considered as an advantage;
- Fluency in English.

Кратко описание: Ролята ще бъде част от нов екип който ще работи по проекти за клиенти от North America региона. Екипът ще бъде изцяло в България - има и локален мениджър но ще си колаборира засилено с колеги от американските аналитични екипи.
Фокусът на работа е разработка на credit scoring модели за банки. Основната технология е Python а за анализ и усъвършенстване на моделите се използват XGBoost linear and logistic regression. Полезно е също ако кандидатите имат опит с инструменти за визуализация - Power BI Tableau защото често се налага изготвянето на ad hoc репорти.
Бюджет: 105 000 лева годишна основна заплата .. 8750BGN gross mo / 7300 BGN net mo ..
Интервю процес:
- Python test който споделяме чрез линк и се попълва за 1 час; Python Test
- първо интервю с мениджъра на екипа и още един от колегите в аналитичния ни отдел;
- второ техническо интервю с колега от US;
- финално интервю с колеги от US.
Работно време: 9-18 но в някои дни ще се налага от 10-19 заради часовата разлика
