Job Summary
We currently have a vacancy for a Windows Infrastructure Expert fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Upgrade Active Directory Functional Levels;
- Upgrade Microsoft Exchange Environment;
- Install and Upgrade to Latest Windows Server;
- Upgrade Certificate Authority (CA) Infrastructure;
- Replace Advanced Threat Analytics (ATA) with Microsoft Defender for Identity;
- Update Windows Server Update Services (WSUS);
- Active Directory Tiering Review and Environment Hardening Enhancement;
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer.
Requirements
- Masters degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
- At least 10 years of experience in managing designing and implementing Windows-based infrastructure in mid to large-sized enterprise environments;
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server migrations and upgrades (including Exchange Server 2016/2019 and hybrid environments);
- Hands-on experience with active Directory (AD) administration and architecture including domain and forest-level functional upgrades Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and tiering best practices;
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (and newer) with solid experience in server deployment configuration and role/service migration;
- Hands-on experience with Security tools and protocols: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authority (CA) upgrades and implementation of security baselines;
- Hands-on experience with Patch management solutions including WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) and any alternative solutions for enterprise patching;
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Threat Protection tools such as Microsoft Defender for Identity and experience in migrating from Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics (ATA);
- Deep understanding of Microsoft infrastructure security practices and experience in hardening Windows environments including securing privileged accounts applying least privilege principles and implementing Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs);
- Experience with system integrations and an understanding of interdependencies between Windows services (e.g. DNS DHCP AD DS) network configurations and security tools;
- Excellent command of the English language.
