Job Summary
Were seeking an AWS Cloud Operations Engineer who is passionate about automation Infrastructure as Code (IaC) networking and AWS-based cloud this role youll design deploy and manage advanced cloud environments that power our clients success. Working alongside a team of industry experts youll deliver innovative solutions that enhance performance scalability and securityhelping to future-proof our clients platforms.
What youll do
Client Collaboration:Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver cloud-native network solutions.
Sovereign Cloud and Environment Management:Manage and operate secure AWS Sovereign Cloud environments that meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Oversee the full lifecycle of client environments including provisioning configuration maintenance and continuous improvement to ensure security availability and compliance.
Performance Optimisation:Continuously monitor network performance and health proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and optimise network configurations for optimal efficiency and responsiveness. Use advanced monitoring tools and analytics to predict and prevent issues.
Modernisation and Automation:Modernise legacy networks optimise performance and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation CDK).
On-Call Support:Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide timely incident response troubleshoot critical production issues and ensure high availability of client environments.

AWS Cloud Ops Experience:Hands-on experience with AWS services including Ec2 S3 VPC networking and modern cloud architectures.
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP BGP OSPF) routing switching firewalls VPNs and load balancing.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform CloudFormation CDK).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch Prometheus ELK Stack).
Certifications:AWS Solution Architect SysOps or Advanced Networkingis a plus but not mandatory!
