Job Description
USALCO LLC is a leading provider of aluminum-based component products used in water treatment pulp and paper manufacturing the making of catalysts for oil refining the housing market and other sectors. The right individual will have a can-do attitude the ability to be part of a team while operating independently and consistently performs to very high standards.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented warehouse supervisor to manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a keen eye for process optimization and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving storing and shipping of products.
- coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Train and evaluate warehouse employees.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling reporting and documentation.
Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
- Strong team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Certifications in forklift operation or safety management are a plus.
- Valid driver license
