About the role
As a Senior Product Engineer you will be joining our lean and high-velocity AI prototyping pod within CapIntel. Reporting directly to the VP of Product youll adopt and apply the latest techniques in artificial intelligence to turn CapIntel into a true vertical AI-enabled SaaS play. Youll also take the lead on performance optimization initiatives over time. Along the way you will interact with customers users and the Design team to understand how users interact with our platform translating those insights into thoughtful product decisions. You will collaborate with core Engineering counterparts to ensure what the Product Engineering team prototypes are set up for success as they get put into production by core engineering down the line.

What Youll Do
- Architect and implement backend services that power AI-driven and ML-integrated features ensuring they are reliable secure and scalable.
- Partner with product and design teams to move quickly from insight prototype MVP production.
- Work iterativelyshipping quickly learning from feedback and continuously improving.
- Navigate ambiguity with a velocity-first mindset bringing clarity through technical decision-making and strong product intuition.
- Contribute to a collaborative culture where ideas are shared openly and solutions are created together.
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of experience in full-stack development with prior experience building and scaling AI features or ML-integrated services
- Strong product intuition and ability to translate customer pain into scalable product prototypes then iterate based on new signals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for efficient clean coding practices
- Experience with AI model integration and a strong interest in AI and machine learning
- Outstanding communication skills; capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse audience
Bonus experience/Nice-to-have (optional section)
- Experience in SaaS or complex products involving data
