Job Summary

We are looking for an Automation and Data Analytics Intern to support the Finance and Accounting functions in modernizing systems automating or eliminating manual processes and delivering advanced analytic applications. This intern will also support the team with the introduction of GenAI into reporting and analytic applications.
Duration
40 hours per week during summer 2026. The target start is May/June and the internship concludes August/September depending on students academic schedule.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Data Analysis of moderate-sized data sets (10s of GB)
Collaboration and development of data models and advanced data visualizations
Ingest and normalize data from multiple source systems
Support product planning meetings and learn the process of application development
Collaborate with data scientists software engineers finance and accounting managers and stakeholders
Give internship summary presentation and recommendations for team during final week
Required Skills & Experience
Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of college-level coursework (Data Science Finance Data Analytics Mathematics or related)
Ability to code in Python or R at an intermediate level
Experience with statistical methods and data analysis
Exposure to machine learning via classes independent projects or work experience
Professional workplace communication skills

This is a typical office job with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
This position will be tied to our Liberty Lake WA location with hybrid work flexibility of 2-3 days on-site per week.
Liberty Lake WA: $15.87 - $44.23 per hour
