Job Summary

Are you an experienced Buyer with a strong background in indirect procurement
Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Supply Chain team on a 6-month temporary assignment. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing supplier relationships while making strategic purchasing decisions we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As a Temporary Buyer you will play a key role in supporting our Supply Chain team by:

Procuring materials and services in line with business requirements.
Making tactical buying decisions using and updating our ERP system.
Assisting in strategic purchasing activities particularly for indirect spend.
Ensuring the best balance of quality delivery and cost across all procurement activity.
Managing supplier relationships and acting as the key point of contact between vendors and internal stakeholders.
Capturing and recording Country of Origin data when required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

Proven experience in a purchasing/procurement role with a strong emphasis on indirect spend.
Confidence in handling supplier negotiations contracts and resolving supply chain challenges.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Experience with ERP systems and a solid understanding of procurement processes.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external suppliers.
