Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Neurosurgery in Anderson SC
AnMed Medical Center is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Neurosurgery locum pool for upcoming inpatient neurology coverage needs. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute to a well-respected facility with a commitment to high-quality patient care. Immediate onboarding is available for qualified candidates with an active medical license DEA certification and a clean background.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage to patients
- Collaborate with a team of two neurosurgeons and a physician assistant
- Conduct surgical procedures including adult and trauma neurosurgery cases
- Perform specific spine surgery procedures such as laminectomies
- Utilize Epic for documentation and patient records
- Manage call responsibilities from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery - REQUIRED
- Active South Carolina medical license and DEA - REQUIRED no exceptions
- 100% CLEAN BACKGROUND - REQUIRED no exceptions
- Extensive experience and strong ratings in the field with no new graduates
- MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR BOTH SETS OF DATES (11/27 - 12/1 and 12/24 - 12/29)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active South Carolina license
- DEA certification
- Board certification in Neurosurgery
