The base pay for this position is $23 per hour
This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday)

Who We Are:
The Finance team consists of detail-oriented highly organized individuals who oversee the companys financial well-being while supporting operational and general business planning. We solve challenging accounting problems and provide financial analyses to determine key operational decisions within a growing and diversifying organization. We are dedicated to meeting new challenges head on at each milestone in Wayfairs development and can adapt to changes within a dynamic fast-paced environment.
This Co-op role on the Global Tax team will focus on assisting with general ledger accounting functions audit inquiries & responses and tax preparation. Daily responsibilities include posting journal entries reconciling general ledger accounts audit analytics completing various tax returns and responding to government inquiries and notices.
What Youll Do:
- Preparation of transaction tax returns
- Assist in transaction tax audits
- Ad-hoc audit and internal audit requests
- Miscellaneous reporting requests for both Finance stakeholders and business partners
- Collaborate with other teams within Finance
What Youll Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Accounting Finance Economics Business Administration) with the expectation that degree will be obtained between December 2026 and May 2029
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the co-op
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD H-1B H-1B1 E-3 O-1 J-1 or TN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant interest in or past experience in tax accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude
- Strong comfort level and appetite to use AI in daily workflow
